About Me
Dr Mia Hobbs, Clinical Psychologist
I am a Clinical Psychologist with a passion for knitting and spreading the word about the therapeutic benefits of knitting. I am based in London,UK.
I work with children, young people and their families who have mental health difficulties, and alongside this I run therapeutic knitting groups in local schools.
I am also the host of the Why I Knit Podcast - a podcast highlighting how knitting can benefit our mental health. In each episode I interview a different knitter about why they knit and how knitting benefits their mental well-being.
